Trainer General Code of Conduct
If you work as a freelance trainer representing Nova Stellar Training, we require you to comply with the following standards relating to conduct, dress code, and other factors:
General Code of Conduct
Professional standards expected from every trainer.

Punctuality
Arrive at the venue at least 30 minutes before the scheduled course start time. This will give you time to set up your equipment and resolve any issues

Friendly
Be polite, courteous and approachable to learners at all times

Language
Do not swear or use any offensive language

Alcohol & Drugs
Must not be consumed prior to or during the course or on the venue premises

Equality
Treat all learners fairly, consistently and equally

Hygiene
Comply with industry guidelines at all times

Professionalism
Please behave in the most professional way at all times

Stock
Ensure you always have sufficient supply of training equipment and hygienic items.

Integrity
We expect that our trainers work with integrity when working on behalf of Nova Stellar Training. We work hard to acquire clients and we request that you work with integrity and honesty.
Dress Code
Maintaining a professional appearance at every course.
- A smart shirt/blouse/top
- Jeans / shorts / t-shirts / sandals – should not be worn, black trousers are recommended
- Presentable : Please ensure you present yourself in the most professional way you can.
If applicable Nova Stellar Training will forward the course paperwork and books to you prior to the course start date. If you are delivering a blended learning course you will need to send the course register to us within 24 hours of completing the tutor led training. You need to provide your own course resources including manikins, wipes, bandages etc.
Invoices & Payment
Please forward an invoice following the sign-off and completion of a course. We will pay all invoices within 5 working days of receipt of invoice / paperwork by direct bank transfer to your bank account.
Self-Employed Status
You are agreeing to deliver courses on behalf of the Nova Stellar Training as a self-employed freelance trainer and are therefore fully responsible for your own Tax and NI contributions.
Trainer Availability
The Trainer must give the Nova Stellar Training as much notice as possible if they are unable to deliver a course booked. The Trainer agrees not to commit to training dates they are unable to deliver.
