About This Course
The First Aid at Work (FAW) qualification is our most comprehensive workplace first aid training. Designed for organisations whose first aid needs assessment identifies a requirement for fully qualified first aiders, this three day course equips learners with the advanced knowledge, practical skills, and confidence to respond effectively to a wide range of workplace emergencies.
This regulated qualification meets the statutory requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and Northern Ireland 1982, ensuring your workplace remains compliant, safe, and prepared.
Assessment: Ongoing practical assessment + short written elements
Minimum Age: 14 (workplace responsibility from age 16).
Learners may act as workplace first aiders from age 16, subject to employer suitability
